The Noank Baptist Group Homes, Inc. was established as a private, non-profit agency in February 1972. In February 1973, this new agency officially opened its first group home, Main Street House, located in Noank, Connecticut. Building upon its success as a provider of group home services, the agency opened its second group home in March of 1976.  This home, known as High Street House, is located in Mystic, Connecticut.  Today both houses are licensed by the State Department of Children and Families, to provide care and treatment as "Child Care Facilities."  Both homes accommodate eight adolescent girls from 13 to 18 years of age.  Our agency is recognized throughout the state as a provider of quality group home care.
