  Outcomes Award

At the Annual Meeting of the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut held on April 23, 2002 our agency was recognized for "Outcome Excellence".

The United Way of Southeastern Connecticut has been placing increased emphasis upon the importance of program outcomes. All 36 participating agencies are expected to identify program outcome goals that are qualitative and measurable. The focus of this effort is to objectively measure how meaningful or helpful a particular program’s services are to the individuals it serves.

This was the first time the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut has bestowed Outcome Excellence awards upon member agencies and we there one of three agencies to be recognized. In addition to receiving the plaque shown here, we also received a check for $500.
